iPod How do I check battery capacity of iPad nano (6th gen)?

I have a never used, but occasionally recharged 6th generation iPod nano. That's the square one with 30-pin connector and touch screen. CoconutBattery on my iMac doesn't detect it.

I got it as a replacement ages ago for an older nano with defective battery.

I have been wondering the same thing with some classics I have. I always wanted one of those nanos and wear it like a watch.
