the instructions say that under idisk i should have a link to homepage, then once i click on that i'll see the option to create a page. But i don't have that link, all i have there is iweb because i have a page up.

I recall this feature was advertised before Mobile Me launched, but isn't there when I look now. However there is a note on Apple's site about it:

Coming soon: Email large files.
Soon a new feature in iDisk will make it simple to share files too big for email. iDisk will automatically send a message with a simple link. The recipient will just click the link to download the file.

yeah but i have so many files in there, i just wanted to create a page with one file on it, like you use to be able to in .MAC

Don't know if this helps but we can still access the .mac homepage site although we have to jump through a few hoops:

Way #1
1) Go to me.com
2) Click on the iDisk icon in the menu bar (Blue folder on purple background)
3) Click on "HomePage" at the bottom of the left panel. (You might have to click on the "SITES" arrow to reveal HomePage and iWeb)
4) Click on "Go to HomePage" at the top right.

Way #2
If you have one of your old .Mac HomePage bookmarked (or remember a url), you can go to that link and click on the "Created with .Mac" icon. This should take you to .Mac HomePage.

Way #3
Try this address: http://www.mac.com/WebObjects/HomePage.woa

By following any way outlined above, you should be able to access the old .Mac HomePage interface (in all its original aqua glory). Creating pages still works. (at least for me).

The download link was the MobileMe feature I was most looking forward to. Can't wait for it to finally be implemented. I miss some of the old .Mac features, especially bookmarks (used it very often) and Groups (Could have grown into something very interesting).

#1 doesnt work for me as homepage is not listed under sites for some reason, I only have iweb there.

#2 worked thanks i was able to go into my old .Mac homepage section using the old URL.

hopefully this gets implemented into mobileme soon because this feature was one of the main reasons why i got .Mac

That's strange. Not sure why it wouldn't be there. Glad the other worked for you.

I've attached a screenshot for comparison.
