In the Apple menu under Recent Items I see ten recent apps listed and ten recent files listed. I would like to change this to list the 5 most recent apps and 15 most recent files. How can I do this? I tried using the Onyx app to change the Recent Items but didn't see it as an option.

I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.2 on a 2019 MacBook Air.

Thank you. I knew about that setting, but it doesn't seem to allow setting 5 recent apps but 15 recent files - it seems to only allow the same number for each. I was hoping for a config file somewhere that would allow a custom setting.

It seems my choice of wording in the thread title was poor.. I fixed it.
