Just an ordinary user here. I used Viivo to encrypt a bunch of files years ago but now the company has gone out of business. Is there anyway to decrypt them?

Thanks.

Decrypting seems unlikely. Here's a summary of what I found about Viivo:
Viivo, a cloud encryption service, was released in 2012. PKWARE made an end-of-life announcement for Viivo in 2017, with support continuing until July 1, 2018.[18]

The most likely place I can think of to get a definitive answer would be a PKWare support forum.

Agreed, think out of luck here.

There is a tool they have, ZIP Reader, that says can read any PKWARE zip format, but does not mention viivo.

Here's what appears to be the patent for viivo formatted zip files. Quick scan, way I read it, not going to find a way to decrypt these due to amount of things going on to create the file/format, aka their own extension/enhancement to zip format.
