I use the long hold on the icon, and a menu appear with an option to "Remove App", but no option to delete. When I tap on "Remove App" it tells me "Removing from Home Screen will keep the app in your App Library". So the app is still on my phone and its just deleting the short cut icon? I'm confused. I installed it a hour earlier, found out it sucked, and now I want to delete it from my phone completely.

If you're only seeing Remove, it's probably in your Dock (the bottom row). Move it to the body of the screen, then it should delete.

No, its not in the Dock. I also tried moving it from the "Home Screen" to the next page, but it still has no Delete option.

When I tap on the minus sign in top left corner of icon, the popup says:
"Remove "Google Translate"?
Removing from Home Screen will keep the app in your App Library."

Sorry. I figured it out. I had the option to delete apps set to Don't Allow in the Content & Privacy Restrictions.
