The only way is with the Leopard disk or an .iso of the Leopard disk AFAIK
Time Machine wouldn't help in this regard

I'm assuming you lost it? Call Apple Support (1-800-MY-APPLE). Tell them you need restore discs for your computer. They will almost certainly ask for your serial number. Don't know if there is any cost involved, but it should be fairly minimal, and almost definitely less than going out and purchasing a new copy of Leopard.

Failing that, try craigslist or ebay for a set.

Is it possiable to stick a USB drive in an Air (same model) at the Apple store and use Disk Utility and make a copy of the OS to the USB drive?

If you want to get thrown out and possibly have the cops and/or security called, then yeah. Back when I worked there, we didn't allow people to copy stuff off the machines. We had some issues with people taking songs off of iTunes.

Just thought of this while reading the reply. If you're lucky, you might be able to take it to an Apple store and have the Genius Bar restore it for you. Despite some of the opinions around here, some of the Geniuses are actually really nice.
