As the title says, I want to remove iOS 10 from my phone. I understand that it'll restore my phone to the last time I synced before I installed that. I've tried putting my phone into recovery mode (held the home button down for minute while the phone was off and nothing worked) and trying to restore iPhone from iTunes says there was a problem downloading the software. Is there anything else I can try or am I doing something wrong here?

Apple directly says that you won't be able to downgrade. Maybe read the warnings closer before you install a beta?

There's plenty of guides to do it: http://www.imore.com/how-to-downgrade-ios10-your-iphone-or-ipad

Two ways: restore or update.
Restore loses all your data and you must have a valid iTunes backup before installing beta.
Update does not lose all your data but iMessage history will disappear, backed by my experience. And you need to delete all music synced to device and re-download all of them again.

The key step is that you have to put it in DFU mode (not recovery mode)

Can confirm... Put my iPhone 6S Plus into DFU Mode today and plugged it into iTunes. iTunes offered to Restore/ Upgrade my iPhone to iOS 9.3.2... A simple download (automatically by iTunes) and the phone restored. Nothing was on the phone anymore as I wanted a clean start.

Now I am back on iOS 10 Beta 2 and it feels smoother than when I upgraded from a years worth of stuff on my phone.

Any reason for the downgrade from iOS 10 to iOS 9? i recently read a tech news saying that it may have bugs since it's the beta version, did you faced any such issue(s)? If "YES" can you pls elaborate?

As with any Beta, there are plenty of bugs to go around. Make sure you do some research if you want to run the Beta on a personal device you use daily.

I have had the Beta on my phone since Dev Beta 1 came out and I wanted to see what a clean install would feel like. I also wanted to go back to iOS 9 for a little while to dig back into some of the things I am missing in iOS 10 (Mainly the new Music App which is filled with incomplete features and bugs).

I will say that iOS 9.3.2 is super clean, fast, reliable, and easy to use right now when coming from iOS 10. But again, we are in Beta 2. Better things are still to come.

Check this for some known bugs before your adventure... https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ios-10-0-beta-2-bug-fixes-and-changes.1981142/

Searching google yielded this as first result. http://www.imore.com/how-to-downgrade-ios10-your-iphone-or-ipad
