I have a 2015 MacBook Pro that runs macOS Sierra 10.12.6. I never felt compelled to upgrade as it has always performed smoothly for me and runs my 32 bit apps and games. This past year or so, Chromium based-browsers have been removing support, many modern websites no longer work, so now I am forced to upgrade to a newer macOS version.
Can I make a Time Machine backup of my Sierra installation, upgrade to Monterey, create a new HFS+ partition, and reinstall Sierra so I can dual boot both OSes?
