I am planning to give away this computer to my sibling but I need to reset it.
I do not know what to do as the computer has OCLP in it.
Last time I changed the HDD of a 2008 Macbook and installed the Macos.
When reboot the computer ask for last owner's apple account and password.
I do not want that to happen again.
Hope you understand what I am trying to say.
My command of english not very good.
Many Thanks.

Make a new admin user and delete your account.
it should work.
Once i had oclp stopped working after migration assistant moved the same user from older os.
In the worst case you would have to reinstall the whole os from scratch.

Erasing and resetting a Mac does not involve OCLP, even if it is installed. If you don't have a supported version of macOS install USB media, you will need to create USB install media. There are many tutorials available on the web. Boot from the USB install media and use Disk Utility to partition the internal storage as a single partition. Be sure to select the disk, not a volume. Install supported macOS.
