Hi,
How do I force Apple*hardware test to happen?
This is what my system profiler sais
Apple Hardware Test:

Last Run: 3/23/06 7:48 PM
Version: 1.1 MM
Test Suite: Quick Test
Result: Passed

But I want to run one.
The last run is too long ago.
Thanks

Hi,
I do not see it in the cds?
Can you please post exactly what to do.
When I use your directions all I get is the mac osx installation dialogue.
Thanks.

The hardware test is a freestanding, bootable CD that came with your Mac. It is separate from the restore discs. Unless something has changed recently, it must be run from the CD and can't be installed.

Hi,
Do they come with the Mac mini g4?
I do not recall seeing it when I opened the box the first time to set up the computer.
Do I have to order it?
Thanks.

Not on all models -- some have a separate silvery CD, but on some it is included on the OSX DVD Disk One.

Read the fine print on each of the install disks, one should say "includes Apple Hardware test"
