how do I fully disinfect a Macbook Pro covered in some mold and other nasty stuff? It was purchased in 2020, but between 6/2020 and 12/2021, it was left in an abandoned apartment due to the pandemic. (hot and humid Florida)

I wiped it off as much as I could using disinfecting wipes, then put it in a cardboard box. Just opened it again after a month. What kind of chemicals or wipes can I use to safely clean it?

Thanks!

99% Isopropyl alcohol - sometimes called 'medical grade'.
And if you start with that to clean as much as possible then you can dilute it to about 70% with water and it'll be really effective at killing bacteria.
Totally safe for the machine.

I agree with friends. Do not forget to turn off your macbook fully before you clean it with isopropyl alcohol. Because It's pretty hard to be sure it contains 99% alcohol.
