How do I get an iPhone to on t-mobile

Hi, I am thinking about buying an iPhone and I was wondering, after I use quickpwn, what else do I need to do to get it to run on other GSM networks, particularly T-Mobile?

This is how you get an iPhone 3G to work on T-Mobile.

1. Update to 2.2 to update to new baseband. Jailbreak it.
2. Install yellowsn0w via Cydia. Simple Instructions here.
3. Reboot phone.
4. Turn off 3G.

Busting chops there, but I'm all for helping out. So long as the person seems to have tried themselves at least to some degree. "I have been trying to get my phone on T-Mobile. I Googled and tried X so far but Y keeps happening. Any help to resolve Y would be greatly appreciated." Something like that.
