So I want to get AppTapp running on firmware 1.1.1. I previously had 1.0.2 firmware and I thought I can just upgrade to 1.1.1 and then visit http://www.jailbreakme.com to get AppTapp installed on it...

BUT! since i'm a legit AT&T user, it will not install AppTapp on my iPhone cause its already been activated. How do I get this done on my legit AT&T iPhone?!?

Umm, you can install apptap via jailbreakme.com if your phone is legit AT&T and is activated. I'm doing it, and many many others have done it.

I tried using jailbreakme.com... i clicked install appsnap, then safari closes, and goes back to the home screen. Nothing happens there after... waited quite a while.

In the FAQ's at jailbreakme.com
5. I'm an AT&T customer, do I need this since it activates?
AppSnapp is smart, if knows if you are an AT&T customer and doesn't try to activate if you already are activated.

Fixed my issue... even though my iphone said it was connected through WiFi it wasn't... so i fixed my wifi issue and now it installed using the jailbreakme.com method.
