When 2.2 came out I tried to down load the update.... I thought it loaded ok... but the install crashed when I tried to load it onto the 3g phone... I had to go to Apple and get the phone restored..... (I thought it was the phone)

Tonight I connected another phone to my computer and it wanted to update from 2.1 to 2.2..... it crashed again... had to go to Apple again. They suggested uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it.... my question is this...

Is the 2.2 upgrade deleted with iTunes when I uinstalled it?

I am running an xp pc....

Any help woul be appreciated!

umm...

thank you for the response.... I dont mean to sound dense... but I am looking all over and do not see User/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates...

when I look at my file tree I see my profile.... but there is no Library...

If I go into Program Files I can find the iTunes folder... but there are no libraries listed...

He didn't see that you're on Windows. *Make sure you have hidden folders visible and what not* Go to C:>Users>____>App Data>Roaming>Apple Computer>iTunes>iPhone Software Updates
