General How do I get rid of the VPN symbol in the top bar of iOS?

Hi There!
I was wondering, How do I get rid of the VPN symbol in the top bar of iOS? I need to use the VPN server that I am using, and that VPN symbol looks weird!

I don't think you can. There's not a lot of options on what shows in the status bar in iOS.

Jailbroken devices can be modified in that way, however. So...it's one of the factors of being "jailed".

Only way to remove it is to disconnect your VPN connection. If your only concern is that it looks weird, I suggest not looking at it.

Thank-you! I don't think that there is a jailbreak for 9.3.4 for 32-bit devices yet though. There probably won't be any 32 bit jailbreaks anymore as Apple phased 32 bit devices out of the iOS 10 update. Thanks!

Yes, I am getting used to seeing that VPN symbol there now, it does not bother me that much anymore!
