I just broke down and got a mobile plan for my iPhone today. Have no clue of how to use an iPhone for other than a camera.

The purpose of breaking down to get a mobile plan was so I can get txet messages withs ecurity codes used to activate accounts (e.g. Twitter).

If I put my mobile # into the Twitter form, how do I get and access the text message they will be sending?

(Please pretend I am your grandpa, and have no real knowledge of a smartphone!)

Thanks.

Incoming messages will usually create a notification on your lock screen to show they have arrived.
They will be visible in the messages app which is the green square with a white speech bubble, usually in the dock at the bottom of your home screen.

Thanks for the reply.

So Text messages are sorta like emails in that they come in messages and exist in an Inbox of sorts?

By the way, do you know anything about Twitter?

No idea on Twitter I’m afraid. I don’t use any form of social network.

Wise person!

I got a mobile plan because twitter wouldn't let me keep my account without a # to text a security code, and since it's been a month since I set up my account, I'm curious if I can unlock in now, or if time will work against me!?
