How do I get track info for imported mp3s from a CD? When I import mp3s from a CD, the tracks are simply 'Track 1', 'Track 2', etc.?

Is it a CD with MP3 files on it or an audio CD that you're ripping to MP3?

If it's the latter, then check that you're online and then iTunes should connect to the Gracenote database and update the song titles for you. If not online, import them as track 1, 2 etc and then next time you are online, highlight the tracks and go to Advanced and choose 'Get CD track info'

If it's a CD of MP3 files, then life's a little harder. You can get an app like iEatBrainz that will go through and try to match the tracks for you.

That all works if it's an actual cd and not a mix. If I ever run in to trouble (which is often considering my satellite internet) I just manually put in info (rightclick-get info click info tab and fill it in)
