What wires or hook ups do I need to import this VHS tape off a newish Sony VHS/DVD player into my 2009 Mac Mini? Never did it before, sorry so dumb...

How do I import a VHS tape to my mini?

...or a MiniDV camcorder or the like that allows pass-thru of the signal.
...or record the VHS onto the MiniDV using the camcorder, them import (basically what I have done).
...or use a VHS/DVD burning combo home player (do they exist?) and then pull the files off the burned DVD.
