How do I increase fan speed on iMac

I know that there is a program that you can use to increase your fan speed on Intell based iMacs. Is there one for PPC based iMacs?
 
From reading the FAQ from the intel program, apparently there isn't because the PPC mac's dont' have the same controllers that the Intel ones do, so software can't control them I think. :(
