I did it 2 ways. On one computer (which had a clean install of public release), I installed the seed configuration utility and then let the mac app store download the 10.10.1 update.

On another however, I decided to use the direct link in apple's developer forums.

Both worked for me.

If the seed configuration utility and/or mac app store doesn't work for you then, I would suggest you use the direct link.

Please note though we can't post the link here on macrumors because such postings violate macrumors rules.

If you wanna see the update in MAS, you can just put this code is terminal:
Code:
sudo softwareupdate --set-catalog https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.10seed-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz
press enter, enter you password.
then you should be able to find the update in MAS.

And if I wanna remove it from MAS?
