My iBook just has a burner, not a DVD-ROM. It is 600Mhz G3 which according the requirements says it will run GarageBand. However, Apple decided to put GarageBand on a DVD only. Is there a way I can copy from the DVD drive on my iMac to my iBook?

If you network them together, then access your iMac from your iBook you can do it. If you want to connect them directly together, then you need an ethernet crossover cable.

GarageBand is 2.1 GB I believe, so Apple had to put it on a DVD.
