How do I install my GTX 680 Mac Edition into the Mac Pro?

Okay, this may sound stupid but the manual is actually just 3 pages in english (the rest in like 30 other languages) that don't explain much about what to do with the cables and such. I know how to slide in the card, that is pretty obvious but are the cables needed for the 4,1 / 2009 Mac Pro? There was a drawing showing the 2008 mac pro with the cables but no explanation as to whether the cables are needed in the 2009 model... Very confusing indeed and I'd rather ask and look like a fool than make a mistake! Also the manual states to install the drivers before installing the card, however there was no CD that came with it and I thought Mavericks already ships with drivers for this card? Or do I need special drivers from EVGA? My final question is regarding Windows in boot camp, will I need drivers for Windows or will the card rely on the Mac drivers? Sorry for asking these n00b questions, I hope someone can help, thanks!

Yes you need to plug the power cables in. The two connectors can be found near the bottom of the backplane board, close to the PCI slot fan.

Mavericks has the drivers built in so nothing to do there.

In bootcamp, you will need to download the latest Windows drivers from NVidia.

It will be obvious when you are in there. The smaller ends attach to the motherboard. Pretty much impossible to mess it up.

The end that doesn't fit on the graphics card is the one that connects to the motherboard

But seriously, I assume being a Mac edition card it comes with Mac Pro PCI-e power cables - like this? If so, then it will be obvious which end goes where. If not, then you need to buy yourself a couple of these I presume.
