Particularly in the energy tab.

So for instance, currently the energy "12 hr power" for on particular app is around 171.71... is that considered a lot? And what does the number represent? Can you give me a brief idea of what number is considered abnormally high?

Anything over 10.0 is “significant” energy usage, from a battery life POV. Or to put it another way, if an app is at 10 or below - it’s not a significant energy user.

That’s not to say above 10 is “abnormal” though. 171 may be perfectly reasonable for a specific situation- just be aware it’s gonna drain the battery quickly.
