Hi,
i have just learned the basics within Java, and started on learing C sharp (or whats it called). Im thinking on trying to make a simple joke aplciation for the iphone. I would want it to be like this: a menu with all the difrent categories of jokes, and when i press a category i get a random joke from that category, then i can swipe to get the next joke. and also a main menu button. Is this a hard aplication to make? Is there any tutorials on this? or are there any free sourcecode?

Step 1 might be learning Objective C. It's a bit different than Java or C#. :D

Good luck though!

It's not a laughing matter, it's about a joke application!

Sweat, blood and lots of suffering will get you there!

This is really easy to develop. I don't know any good tutorial. I recommend you to read an Objective-C book called Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X. This book is for Mac OS X, but if you know programming for the Mac, you know programming for the iPhone and vice-versa. Also learn a little C first. To learn C, I suggest a book called The C Programming Language. That's so simple to do, so you don't need to get any third party source code.

To be able to publish on the App Store, you need to sing up for the iPhone Developer Program, which costs U$99.00 per year.

I recommend learning to program then learning objective c. With out logic the code is meaningless lol.
