How do I make this banner/border/label?

Hey, so I'm kinda a Photoshop noob and I also take photos. I want to make a banner/border/label/whatever this is on my photos as well.

but I can't find out how to do it, so could any of you fine people help me out?

if you are talking about the white line with the black text on it....

You just have to make a new layer, than draw a box ( using the rectangular marquee tool) and fill it with white.

Than on the layer palette, play around with the opacity.

Than add text.

Hope that helps a little.

It looks like they've used Courier as the font as well.
