How do I mount my iPhone and what is this SSH?

I'm trying to get my 1st gen iPhone to mount on the desktop so I can run Data Rescue II on it.

Data Rescue will not work. You can't mount the iPhone as a USB mass storage device, and even if you did it wouldn't be like a harddrive.

If you are looking to retrieve files that you deleted, you are SOL.

maybe your answer is total comander or something like that that let's you browse your iphone via usb conection I think that the closer you can get to mount your iphone
