I currently have my iPhone set up on iTunes on my iMac ("Xerxes"). Calendar and address book syncing are done over the air.

But I'll be on holidays in Israel for two weeks and would therefore move the iPhone to my MacBook ("Blacky") and possibly deactivate over-the-air syncing.

Then I'll be back home and will move my iPhone to my new Mac Pro ("Cyrus").

What's the best method to move the iPhone from Xerxes to Blacky to Cyrus?

That is the same kind of question I have been waiting to have answered But have just been to lazy to ask it haha

I don't know whether it was a fluke, I have done this but it is not easy, first I backed up both macs just in case I totally scr*wed them up.

I copied everything to do with iTunes, prefs, music, the lot from 1st computer. I also copied my backups from /Users/*yourname*/Library/Application Support/MobileSync and placed them on my 2nd computer in the corresponding places.

When I synced my iPhone it was not recognised as the same iPhone but as I had transferred everything over it restored it from the Backup I had copied over, in effect it was exactly the same, txt msgs, email, contacts, Apps, the lot.

I also transferred the 2nd macs original stuff back onto the 1st (so my ex could have her library for her iPod) and that worked exactly the same.

Hope this is of some help!
