Hello All,

When I view available networks in the area, there is one that I don't want to see ( the name of the network is crude ) How can I go about not displaying the name of the network in Airport? I thought about hacking in to his network and fixing it for myself, but that is too much trouble.. Thanks for the help!!

I am not sure that you can stop it displaying the network name, as it displays all networks in range. The person who owns the 'rude' network name would have to not broadcast the name, which I doubt they will do as they must think its funny.

Take your macbook pro outside and walk around the neighborhood (at night), shouldn't take you long to figure out where the wifi signal is coming from. As the signal gets stronger, you know you're getting closer etc...
Then leave that neighbor a nice friendly note from anonymous. Also, state his network name is being seen by small children around the neighborhood and you may have to get the police involved.
