How do I remote in from another location to mac mini?

Can anybody help me setup remote login. Will I have to use a app or something.

I will be traveling and would like to know how can I login to my mac mini from another state. I want to be able to delete files and uninstall programs, basically use my mac remotely as if i were in front of it

Am i able to power on my mac remotely?

I have filevault enabled, will I be able to remote in via the login window?

Back to My Mac. It's set up in the iCloud control panel and once set up it will show in the Finder sidebar and SHOULD allow you to connect. You may want to play with it some before planning on it working, if you don't have an Apple router it MAY be a bit finicky.

Yes thank you, I might just use team viewer but I'm still open to options
