How do I repair screens on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S+?

I have cracked screens on my iPhone 6 (cosmetic) and iPhone 6S+ (pretty severe, it goes beyond just the screen, but it's fully functional).

What are my options for repair?
I don't have AppleCare.

Do I have to pay Apple $149 or can I have a third-party do it?
Are there any reputable third party repair centers?

Does your home content insurance or bank account cover you? If so they will arrange the iPhone to be repaired. There may be a deductable (USA) excess (UK).

Unfortunately I don't have such insurances.
So I have to repair using either apple or third party using cash.

The Touch ID is in the home button,not the screen.
