How do i reset mini mac to original factory setting?

Clean Install of Mac OS X 10.6 or Erase and Install of Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5, using the grey Restore DVDs that came with your Mac mini.

is there a way to restore without the original cd?

i cannot find it.
can i get a copy somewhere?

You can ask Apple for replacement DVDs for around 30 USD or use the Snow Leopard upgrade DVD for 29 USD, but it will not include iLife unless you purchase the Mac Box Set or the iLife '11 DVD.

And you can't download Mac OS X for free somewhere, unless you pirate.
