how do i reset my bookmarks?

i have messed up my bookmarks and wish to restart .
is there a way to delete all bookmarks and start again?

a way to delete all with one command would be very helpful!
i could restart with a new bookmarks bar

In Safari -- Safari Menu Bar -> Bookmarks -> Edit Bookmarks -> right-click on any individual item and select Remove; or select multiple items while pressing Command -> Safari Menu Bar -> Edit -> Delete

Or to remove all at once -- Safari Menu Bar -> Bookmarks -> Edit Bookmarks -> Safari Menu Bar -> Edit -> Select All -> press delete on your keyboard
