how do I Sli

I have a mac pro early 08 it currently has the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB. I want to boost the graphics a little and I was going to order a second 8800gt. I have done some searching to figure out if I can sli these two together but since it is an older card all the articles or discussions seem to be pretty dated. Does anyone know if this is possible with my machine? It seems to me that you can but then I see people talking about sli drivers not working but like I said those discussions are older.

I know that this gpu has sli, but I don't know about mac pros supporting it or OS X

Doesn't work in OS X. Others have reported it works in Mac Pro with Windows though.

You can sell your Mac 8800GT and get a new, inexpensive PC card now. OS X has opened up to all sorts of PC cards lately. See the Nvidia FAQ:

You may need HyperSLI in order to enable SLI if you have compatible GPUs.
