I picked up a 2.4ghz 15" MBP (LOVE IT) last weekend, and I am still left wondering if I have a yellow display. I wasn't aware that was a manufacturing problem, but after reading these forums a bit I've become paranoid. The display does seem a tad bit yellower than my LCD at home, but I realize that all displays are different. Also, I bought it from the store, not ordered online, and so perhaps it's not one of the newest models? Also, I am just realizing as I type this that the "/" key is unresponsive, in that I must press it harder than all the other keys in order for the press to register. Is this just some weird quirk with all MBP keyboards? Because it's difficult to live with, especially after paying so much... Thoughts?

if you dont recognize the yellow issue its not there, all mbp color profiles are set to look a bit on the yellowish side, i like it, if you dont you can re-calibrate it in the displays preferences, as far as the keyboard, i have no issues with mine so i dont know what to tell you

These forums will do that to you. I've (unnecessarily) spent a lot of time and money as a result of posts in these forums. My OCD, my fault---but the forums definitely cater to our "paranoid" (not really the right word) sides.

If you didn't immediately notice a problem with your LCD, there's probably no problem. Your keyboard issue is really only normal if it only occurs right after using the mouse/trackpad with the "ignore accidental input" setting enabled. Otherwise, it's going to annoy the crap out of you until you take it in for a fix.

Can't find the yellow either

I was also disappointed not to find the yellow on my new MBP. I keep looking, and using the various tests, but I just can't see it. I have a Samsung screen, which the people in the forum guarantee will have a lovely yellow tint at the bottom. Perhaps someone could post a color profile that would give me this nice feature. Anyway, I'll keep looking and hoping.

LOL. --- I have a week 35 Samsung screen that looks perfect.
