I just bought myself a MBP and I set up my itunes with my apple id. I have tons of apps that I downloaded from on my pc but I dont want them on my MBP. How do I stop automatic downloads? Everytime I start up iTunes it starts downloading....this is annoying

:EDIT: My apologies I just realized I posted in the Mac Pro section instead of the Mac Book Pro section.

I found the solution to this and I see a lot of views and no replies so I'll assume its more people like me looking for an answer. First click on store and sign out of your iTunes account. Then after you have signed out click on iTunes then preferences. After that click on devices and make sure "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically" is checked. After that restart iTunes. It will ask you to enter your password to downloads apps thats you haven't downloaded already. Cancel then click on store and sign in to your iTunes account again. Next time you start up iTunes it should not automatically download any of your old apps. Hope this helps!!

This is infuriating and unfortunately doesn't work anymore. Every time I log into the store it starts downloading something on the order of six TV seasons. Apparently no one can make it stop. Been googling for a while now.

Sometimes when I am looking at the download queue it will just start on its own even though I paused and deleted all.
