How Do I Stop Prevent Turn-off 3x Large Emoji?

I tried that title in search engines and got nothing. Am I, seriously, gonna have to enter an ellipses everytime I want to send one single emoji to force it to normal size, in Messages? Not everyone, at least me, wants a hideously huge emoji - its akin to yelling but stupider.

That's a great suggestion. Again, why isn't there a TOGGLE for this??? They make a change and assume everyone will love it.

The big emojis also gets on my nerves
Especially because you have to scroll a long time to read a message that is higher up. For Facebook, these big emojis have been around for a long time now.
