I love the layout, the icons, the interface, safari, etc.

How do I switch back to Mavericks? lol (bugs)

time machine backup. I'm curious what are you having issues with? for me safari is the only thing with bugs

Curious to know how this works as well. The last time I backed up to Time Machine was when I was on Mavericks.

So theoretically I could do a Internet Recovery then restore from my Time Machine backup?

I was able to successfully go back to Mavericks with no issues. I backed up my machine with Time Machine prior to my Yosemite install. It was as simple as CMD+R at startup choosing to restore from my backup and boom. Back on Mavericks!

Cheers.

That's the thing I love about Apple, I have had the joy of Time Machine restores before, worked flawlessly for me too.

PS Make a second partition next time, clean Yosemite installs work better anyway.

You can do a time machine backup. If you still want to use Yosemite. You can return to mavericks after the backup and use Yosemite by partitioning your hard drive and freely switch between the two.
