I'm in the UK and i got an e-mail saying my order has been shipped. I try to track it and it says the following

In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule

Carrier Tracking Number
In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly.

I've got loads of other numbers like Our Delivery Reference Number etc.

It's been like this for a while, when will ig et a tracking number and can i do anything to track it now?

No details on carrier

Assigned Carrier
In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly.

Is what it says. Been like this for a day

It got shipped from China on the 5th and i stil have no tracking number.

Everytime i phone they say just keep an eye on the website.

Is this normal? Can i use any of the other numbers on the order page?

Mine got shipped from Cork via UPS, its now on Dublin.

The ones that ship from Cork are assembled where? US or China?

I'm not sure, hopefully someone who knows will reply. I'm pretty sure if it's built to order it's from china, otherwise Ireland but i don't know if it still goes to ireland if it comes from China.

When did you order and what was your estimated delivery date?

I order it in the 4th, yes it's BTO, 3 business days to process, got shipped yesterday via UPS in Cork. Doesn't say anything about China or US anywhere in the apple store or the UPS site. Probably was assembled in Ireland?

Initially it was supposed to arrive 11 or 12 August, it was updated yesterday to the 17th in the apple store, however in the UPS site the date was updated today and says it should arrive 11/08, tomorrow. (that would be awesome).

I'm in Portugal btw.

If you log in to the US apple site and go to your order status you get more info.

Whe you view your order and everything is listed seperately with ship dates does it say via Kuhne & Nagel Spedition s.a r. for the computer?

If so, the it came from China.

Mines isn't even a custom, i added a battery charger which amde the order custom. Ordered on the 2nd, you ordered after me but aleady have a tracking number, i don't even have that yet! This wait sucks.

The only thing that says on the us apple site is Shipped on: Aug 9, 2010 via UPS Ireland. No more details.

When i click on the tracking number it goes to the Portuguese page but it doesn't have details, just the arrival date, the status, reference and the tracking number.

In the UPS site just Cork and now Dublin are listed with the various activities involved.

Just noticed that the serial number is CK****, so it really must be assembed in Cork.

I only ordered the BTO Imac without anything extra.

Initially i was getting an adapter and applecare and it was listed 4 business days, i cancelled those and it went to 3 business days.
Maybe it's the battery charger that is holding yours back?

yeah it probably is the charger. the estimated date is Thursday but since it doesn't seem to be with a carrier yet, i wonder if this is even possible.

Ok so my status has updated.

It says;

Assigned Carrier
UK DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Current Delivery Status Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date

it has a carrier tracking number that starts with 82 but no carrier. Any idea who it is?

At least you're getting updates. Mine hasnt been updated since August 7, after it departed from China.
