Ok so here's the thing. I accidentally deleted my MacBook through find my iphone on my phone. Now I can't sync my phone to my MacBook because it will delete all my photos on my phone. Please tell me of a work around this.

I transferred my music already to my MacBook no problem but I would like to transfer my photos, and not just my camera roll photos. All my folders in my phone :/

Thanks.

Pissed. Why the f is it so hard to get my fing photos off of my phone ffs.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Just plug the phone in with USB and launch Image Capture app then import to whatever folder you want. It is fairly easy.

It's not showing me the folders. Just camera roll. I am so dumb I just spent 30 on something that doesn't even transfer my photos when it said it would. Should have just bought iexplorer. I don't understand why I would even have to pay for something that should be done for free. So pissed

All you photos should be in the camera roll. Have you tried to import the entire camera roll to a folder and see if they are all there?

What do you mean by 'Folders' then?

Like don't you guys have other pictures in your phone other then camera roll? We'll I do. Like when I took a trip to Toronto I had a folder on my computer and it went to my computer when I backed up my phone. Can't I just back up my phone and my photos will just go back to my MacBook?

All the photos you take with your phone are in camera roll. But unfortunately my only backup of my other photos in my other folders are on my phone. My bad I guess but now I need these folders with pictures in them to be on my MacBook

Ah... I see what you mean. Like albums you manually added then put photos in? I know there are some aftermarket apps that will do this, but I don't have any experience with them to recommend one.

If you manually backup in iTunes it will keep the photos in that backup set, but then you need to restore the backup to get to the photos.

The photo sync is one way - computer to iphone. The pics are also reduced in size/quality when synced to iphone. You could e-mail them to yourself.

How did the pics get on the iphone if not from your computer?

The Camera Roll photos ( taken with iphone) are imported as you would with any digital camera. Or if you have large number of photos need to be transferred to Mac, I think you need to try third party app like iOS file manager app, which can copy files from iPhone to Mac without iTunes, very fast!

This thread is nearly a year old.

Anyways..To contribute, use the Image Capture application. Super easy.
