How do I turn off auto dialing from PDFs

I keep calling random numbers when clicking on PDFs to zoom in. This is new from iOS 9, and I would like to turn this off if possible.

Can you elaborate this? With "clicking" you mean tapping? And why would it do that? Are you tapping on numbers which are then used as a phone number to call?

Yes tapping, but accidentally on numbers (sometimes it's even non phone numbers) in the PDF. There is no confirmation that I meant to dial the number. It just immediately calls the number using the phone app.

There should be a confirmation as is generally the case with things like that.
