iPod How Do I Turn Off Autoplay on iPhone?

Hey
I know this is the iPod section but since my problem is with the iPod feature, I thought iPod users may have a solution. I have an iPhone 3G and I connect it to the USB port of my Kenwood KDC-MP438U in my truck. My problem is when the phone is first connected, it starts playing songs on my iPod. This is becoming a nuisance because most of the time I want to listen to internet radio. I can stop the iPod music once it starts and go my internet radio app, but I was wondering if there is an option that I can change to disable autoplay on either the iPhone or receiver when they are connected through USB?

My Pioneer head unit does the same thing. I believe it would be an option on the head unit and not the iPhone. Hope that helps some.

You are probably right. Does your headunit have such an option? I did a quick search through my manual and I didn't one.

I used to have this when I had an iPod cable that plugged into the CD Changer port of the head unit.

Because the default behaviour of the CD player is to start playing, the same happens because the stereo doesn't know the difference between a CD changer and an iPod.

Does that make any sense?
