How do I Turn Off iTunes Match in Apple Music?

Just don't need it at all now. Want to use Apple Music and don't want my iTunes Match cluttering up.

On iTunes, go to "Store" on the menu bar, and then "See account (xx@xx.com)..."
After asking for your password it goes to the iTunes Store tab and shows your account details.
Under "iTunes in the Cloud" there is a line for iTunes Match where you can disable it.

no way to turn it off... Under account "iTunes in the cloud" u can de-assosiate a computer or device to hide/prevent it from syncing, but the service is still active.

I could disable it the way I mentioned.
It's for sure as it reminded me my subscription will go off in the renewal date.

Apple needs to be clear the difference here.

turning off Auto-renew does not "immediately" cancel anything, since its still active and will stay till the billing date, tne it will cease..

Furthermore, "turning off" suggests your subscription would be cancelled. this is now how it works with Apple, it just doesn't renew, and by Apple's definition, by not renewing, it's effectively cancelling... (only because u cannot choose to pay month to month.)

I dunno why Apple associates auto-rewel option with "cancellation" of ones subscription, or all other services like hulu that u can use ITunes billing to pay for, because it just turns off auto renewal but it's only Apple that treats it this way.. No other company does.

Cancellation and turning off auto-renew are actually two different thing, although they accomplish basically the same.

I found no disable button as mentioned previous, but i did find this

It's unclear what exactly you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to unsubscribe from Match, or are you trying to prevent Apple Music from adding songs to your cloud music library? Assuming it's the latter, you can turn off "iCloud Music Library". However, this also means you can no longer download Apple Music songs to your device for offline playback. This whole issue is a bit confusing due to the convoluted way Apple Music integrates with the music library. Both Apple Music and iTunes Match use "iCloud Music Library", and Apple Music has it's own version of iTunes Match integrated. Unsubscribing from Match alone therefore doesn't prevent Apple Music from doing that.

Has anyone figured this out? Its driving me insane. I hate seeing all my iTunes match songs on my phone. I want it gone. I just want to see apple music and the songs/playlists I have downloaded from there. I still want keep my 100s of playlists and thousands of songs from my old library but I DON'T want to see it on my phone anymore!

It feels like the only solution is to have a completely different user for my phone with a different credit card. Apple you suck these days.

I'm interested in this as well. Let my Match subscription expire and then had an unrelated problem with my iTunes library that I thought Match might be able to solve, so I signed back up. I have found out that was sort of a stupid mistake and it didn't help my situation. So I would like to turn Match off without disabling Apple Music (I also subscript to that), so I can't just turn off iCloud library. Anyone know of a way to turn off Match only?

[doublepost=1488435113][/doublepost]Figured it out, finally. Following works for iTunes 12.5.5.5, it may work for other versions.

1) Launch iTunes, select "Store" page.
2) Top right of page, select "Account", log in to your account if you have to.
3) On "Account Information" page, look down toward bottom of page, there's a section named "Settings"
4) In the "Settings" section there is an item named "Subscriptions", click the "Manage" link to the right of it.
5) Find "iTunes Match" item on "Subscriptions" page. Cancel the subscription.

iTunes->Store->Account->Settings:Subscriptions:Manage->Subscriptions:Active ...
