EDIT: I Think issue may be that I have my gcal CalDAV for iCal, and don't have any actual events in iCal (even though gcal ones show up)...is there any way to get gcal to talk to iCloud, either through iCal or own its own?

Although maybe iCloud is unnecessary - I can use ical/gcal, with gcal being my replacement for icloud

Damn, you sure you didn't click any settings?

I've discovered something, edited my original post - I think it's because I'm using gcal through ical?

I just used iCal to export my Gcal to a file and then imported back into the iCloud calendar.
