Every time I click on the go online button, it doesn't go online, but gives me an error message. I have yet to have resolve this problem. Can someone tell me what's going on?

From what I understand about the new FaceBook chat system, is it is just a sidebar for the messenger system. All chat seems to be message just being relayed back and forth quickly. I think they have disabled that chat in the actual app, because I get this as well. I think it may have something to do with their other application "FaceBook Messenger"

I also have the Facebook Messenger app installed on my IP4, but that's not Facebook Chat/Instant Messaging unless I'm mistaken. It certainly doesn't look or behave like the IM app.

I was having problems with this as well. I realised you must be online within the desktop version of Facebook as well. Do not 'Go Offline' in the desktop version and the mobile version works fine.
