how do I watch videos on a mac mini

Howdy. somewhat new to Mac here, I have a Mac Mini, just a few days old.

When I go to watch a video, say on you tube, it comes up blank, no plug ins. and says download adobe flash. I tried to, can't get it to work, whats me doing el wrongo here, thanks.

To download Flash, first you download the installer (which may come on a disk image, in which case you'll have to mount that first). Once you've downloaded it you have to run the installer and then restart your browser.

You need to get Flash Player from here. It;s a pity in a way that it's not longer preinstalled. But it makes sense I suppose-Windows doesn't come with Flash Player pre installed.
