im on windows 7... i having trouble with step 2 how do i mount? i pressed it and i need to choose a program to open it

Can I give you some advice.
You need to spend a few days researching jailbreaking. You have no idea what you are doing and I have no doubt you will be a "fail". Then your phone will get locked in emergency mode only.
Yes, you need more research and alot more patience.

Ive jailbroke. 44 iphone 3.1.2. and 10 ipods on 3.1.2. ive just never done 3.1.3. with my phone
thats what i did on all the other 3.1.2. ive done.. i need to do the 3.1.3. iphone 3g which is mine.
And I've jailbroken only 4 or 5 iPhones yet I and most of the posters here obviously know much more about this than you do. Strange !
Yes, Pwnage Tool is Mac only and has been around a very long time, so if you have all the experience you claim with the 54 Apple devices, certainly you would know this ??

well... how do i do it.. i cant download redsnow because it wont get it on.. on my pc..
Same thing with 3.1.3 but when redsnow asks you for the firmware point it to the 3.1.2 ipsw and thats it.
finally did it damn im such an idiot!!! i had downloaded the wrong firmware to point redsnow too THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP GUYS
