How Do People Change Their Windows Themes To Look Like Mac OSX?

I've recently got windows on my Mac, and was wonderin' what people do to change their whole setup to look like a mac. Windows is so Fugly. Are there some sites? Thanks guys.

Yes, but I also wanted to hear from people that have actually done this. Maybe people were against it for some reason, then I would reconsider, etc

It's just a theme/skin for Windows. A pretty heavily tested, long used thing by Windows users. The only cons are that it's "not right".

I personally use CrystalXP for that Vista look, but I'm sure they do Mac OSX look aswell!

There are so many. What are some of the more popular ones? I don't want it to look exactly like OSX but I don't want it to look like the crappy default XP.

I use WindowBlinds and ObjectDock on my "development" PC at work, unfortunately I can't do anything with the "production" one as it's all locked down and can't install apps. It's just nice to have the close buttons etc on the left rather than the right of the windows!

The screenshots on the ObjectDock site look ridiculous as they've got tabs showing. My dock is just plain & simple, small and almost clear. I would post a screenshot but don't seem to be able to How the hell do you do an entire screen grab in Windows?

You might also want to check out StyleXP which uses themes from http://www.themexp.org/ . I think its a little more lightweight when it comes to resources, or it used to be when I tried it a long time ago.

How much resources do WindowBlinds and Object Dock take up?

I've always used "msstyles" rather than third party apps for customising Windows XP, these are the same format as the standard XP themes - you just need to patch a dll file (uxtheme.dll) or Windows won't allow you to install third party msstyles.

Google "patch uxtheme.dll" if you are interested, it's fairly straight forward. I personally use a Milk theme mod called Cream however a google search like this should give you something a bit more Tiger like.

If you have a normal USB keyboard then you can simply press Print Screen Button on the KeyBoard. Or may be open the application named ClipBoard(I guess thats what it`s called). I m not sure but may be there you`ll find an option to grab screen using your mouse there.

Once the screen is copied you can simply open MSPaint and paste it there for use.

Hey thanks for the suggestions. This works great. I got a couple that I like, but I haven't seem the cream one that you mentioned the link doesn't work.
