How do updates work on Cydia?

If a developer changes something within their app that you have installed on your phone, does it let you know? Do you have to uninstall and reinstall to make the changes take effect?

works like app store updates. you'll see updates for apps under "changes" in cydia. Update from there

I'm not worried about crapstaller.

So when you select the change it'll have an update button under modify I assume?
