Using the apple tv

Will it be live on the apple keynote podcast

Im checking the podcast and watching last years one more thing was the apple tv 2

Or is there a site from safari that we can airplay the keynote Live

If I remember correctly, the last live, official coverage of an Apple Keynote came through Apple's website, not a podcast. The podcast was available later for download through iTunes after the event.

We don't know whether the event will be streamed live at all -- the WWDC keynote this year wasn't, it was only available some time later as a podcast. Last year's September event was streamed via the website using HTTP live streaming -- if they do that again it should be AirPlayable from iPhone/iPad. I think they only announced the day before that it was going to be live streamed.

I have been told that Apple will not offer a live stream this time, I am very sure of this. It looks like you'll have to be watching live blogs on Tuesday, not sure if MacRumors will be there. The podcast usually doesn't go up for while after the event ends. If I remember correctly, WWDC took almost 12 hours to release a podcast of it.

Why doesnt apple to exclusives to apple tv /iphone/iPad

Like maybe release an app or something to view the event live

Lol ok but what im trying to say is

Instead of apple letting other people report the event why dont they broadcast the thing live

First impressions is everything
And if the bloggers dont like the next iPhone they will report bad feedback for all to see

Better to let everybody see it live and make up there own minds

sometimes they just don't have it setup to do so, there was the other year where they had to disable everyone's wifi cos they couldn't demo some features properly due to heavy signal interference. We may get an announcment of a live feed tomorrow, so it's a wait and see, i wouldn't count out a live feed since they're doing one to the Apple Store in Covent Garden, i wouldn't be surprised if we got one too, but then again, the fact they're having the stream to the Covent Garden store could mean no public live feed.

I was pestering my mate that works at Covent Garden to see if there's a web address, but he's not budging lol.

well apparentley once apple did this and someone hacked into it and said steve jobs died. I think at least...

Prioritise existing customers over new ones? If anything they should want people who aren't really aware of what an iPhone is/does to see the event.

Next best thing, watch CNET's Buzz Out Loud as they will be covering it as their live blogger reports. Might not be the same as live streaming, but still fun and entertaining and with commentary about the event.

The closest I've found is the TWIT Network is going to live stream their commentary on it as it happens, and I just installed their app for iPod/iPhone/iPad and confirmed that TWIT Live is on there.

It does not Airplay to ATV though. I think it's ironic that the thing that will hopefully make this happen IS iOS 5, via iTunes Mirroring.

Hopefully, this will end the dark days of only having audio Airplay working for too many apps (HBO Go? I'm looking at you, son!)

Don't think we'll be able to...

If I were Tim Cooke, who is presumably doing the presentation, I wouldn't want my first event as Steve's replacement broadcast to the world. I'm sure he's competent, and well rehearsed, but I'd still want editorial control over what went out over the internet.

I think I watched the last one only a few hours later from the Apple home page, and there are always good twitter and live blogging feeds available for it.
