At my wits end. No matter what I do, the RAW images I take always open as jpeg. The file info shows they are a large dng file. If I airdrop them to my computer, they save as jpeg. If I email them to myself, they email as jpeg. If I open them directly from photos on my Mac with photoshop, they open as jpeg. If I dare the dng file from photos to a folder, it magically turns into a jpeg etc.

So frustrating. Why on earth would they make this so difficult?

Anybody have any hints? Thanks

I take ProRAW images on my 14 Pro Max and usually transfer them to my Win11 PC to process in Lightroom. I use the app FileBrowser Pro to do the copy from my 14PM to the PC via SMB and they transfer full-size RAW.
